Inclusion in the "Revista de Vinhos - Grande Escolha" (Great Selection) Club for August 2002. "For the third year running, we highlight Quinta do Ameal, which has systematically been classified as one of the best vinho verde on the market. In a year marked by particularly difficult harvest, young wine producer Pedro Araújo has managed to maintain the customary high standards. On tasting, the floral qualities of Loureiro variety are apparent in the wine`s elegant, sophisticated and intense aroma. In the mouth, it reveals intense fruit flavours, standing out as a very clean wine great balance, harmony and freshness."

Well structured in the mouth, citric and floral, very fresh, acidity present but not to excess, it is an elegant and very well-balanced wine."
